In the old park, one can still see rare and unique tree species. In the park there is a monument to the victims of Red Terror and national warriors who lost their lives during the World War II. It was put up in 1995 with the funds donated by the Latvians abroad – members of the welfare society Daugavas Vanagi – to remind the future generations of the repressions against the residents of Zebrene Parish in 1941 and 1949. In the summer of 2018, a sensory trail, in the creation of which the locals of Zebrene participated voluntarily, was inaugurated beside the park. A campfire site, a sanctuary of good thoughts, and various games – stops complete the trail.
