The memorial plaque is located at a place where, as a result of a punitive expedition Oto Feldmanis, a teacher in Dobele and the founder of the Dobele All-Boys Private School, was shot on 17 December 1905 for the involvement in the revolutionary movement. A monument was put up at this place to honour his memory.
