Annele Zoo is located in the territory of the Latvia’s State Forest Nature Park in Tērvete - in the beautiful Annele meadow. It is located behind the Gnome forest, below the great Tērvete watchtower. The garden is associated with places where the writer Anna Brigadere spent her first years as a child, later describing them in her memoirs "Annele's stories",included in the trilogy “God. Nature. Work". Visitors of the zoo are free to walk around the pens, pet rabbits and goats, take photos, feed the animals, observe the life of farm birds and Nutria. There is a gazebo for a leisurely rest and a doll's house for children to play in. A visit to the garden is for a separate fee, which does not guarantee free entry to the rest of the territory of LVM Nature Park in Tērvete.
