With a total area of 20.1 ha and an average depth of 3.3 m, the Lake Vipēdis is situated in a wooded area in Zebrene Parish. There is an island with an area of 0.2 ha in the lake. The lake is especially popular with fishermen who are specialised in carp fishing. There are also lots of roaches, rudds, and plenty of pikes. Since the shores of the lake are marshy, footbridges have been installed around the lake to enable access to the water body. The territory is well-maintained and equipped and thus suitable for recreation with overnight accommodation. The visitors can rent boats and use campsites for tents and campervans.
