The recreation area “Vipēdis” offers licenced fishing, recreation in nature, swimming and rides with boats. Fire places and tent places are available for the guests to be able to completely enjoy the recreation in the nature, and they have an opportunity to stay overnight in two fitted houses with additional possibilities to relax in outdoor hot tub or go in a sauna. Fishing allows having a joint adventure and have a good free time in the open air. After recreation in the nature, you’ll have maximum energy boost for the coming working week! You can enjoy fabulous views and rest from highway noises in the forest-embraced shore of Lake Vipēdis. Sun baths, hikes, meals in open air – these are only some of the possibilities how to spend time together with your loved ones.
For those who like active recreation and search for adventures we offer hikes along the lake or visit the popular Krievkalni that is only 2 km far from us. Those who are more agile walkers, can go on a hike in the Ile national partisan bunker (distance ca. 8 km from Lake VIPĒDIS), or simply lounge on a foot-bridge with a cup of coffee.

Two types of cabins are offered for overnight stays:
Design cabin White Pine House
It is a perfect place to relax in a small circle of family members or friends. There are two double-beds and one single bed in the cabin. Bed linen and towels are provided. There is a fully-equipped kitchen area in the cabin – induction cooktop, kitchenware, dishes, electric kettle, and fridge. The kitchen area is also equipped with a sink. Upon previous agreement with the hosts, the guests can order breakfast.

Guests can additionally rent a boat, bike, and a raft for romantic trips on the lake or for fishing (one fishing permit is included in the price). There is also a bathing area with a wooden footbridge and ladder which makes it easy to get into the water. Guests can also go hiking outside the territory of the cabin.
Waterlily on the lake (Ūdensroze pie ezera )is a fitted double house with a large sofa. It is equipped with: conditioner, terrace with a table, boardwalk with the possibility of fishing, SUP boards, also hot tub and sauna for a separate fee. There is a fully-equipped kitchen area in the cabin – induction cooktop, kitchenware, dishes, electric kettle, fridge.
